Bosque
Bottoms, owned by the
National Championship Barbecue Cookoff, a not-for-profit
organization, is a very
large outdoor facility
that features a 60 x 120 pavilion with a stage, restrooms
and showers, RV hookups, concert space, high volume parking
and more.
Bosque Bottoms
hosts most events in Meridian including The National
Championship Barbecue Cookoff,
in October and the Chuckwagon Cookoff and John A. Lomax
Gathering in March, The Heart of Texas Barbecue Cookoff & Bosque
County Go Texan Barbecue Cookoff,
the Duncan Seawright Memorial Tractor Show and Pull, the
Bosque Bottoms Tractor Show and Pull along with many smaller
activies.
Bosque Bottoms
is also hosts an RV park with 40 spaces.
