10-2PM Meridian is offering low cost vaccines to ALL dog owners, and FREE registration tags for the City. It will be on FEB 16th ONLY. All dog owners must have their dogs registered with the City of Meridian by March 1st, 2019. (Citations will be issued if not in compliance) Registration requires a rabies shot. Support your local food bank by attending the Annual North Bosque Helping Hand food pantry fundraising lunch - baked potato - with all the fixin's - salad, drink and dessert for just $8,--. There are cakes and other desserts for sale. Any additional donations are welcome. The event is at Meridian's First United Methodist Church Family Life Center.
OUR TOWN, OUR TOMORROW Invitation to attend Meridian Master Park Plan workshop Sept. 12
The City of Meridian Parks and Recreation Committee has a Meridian Park Master Plan workshop planned for Thursday Sept. 12 at 5:30 p.m. The workshop with Parks and Recreation committees, civic organizations, the Chamber of Commerce and AgriLife Extension will be held at the Memorial Library Building/Senior Citizen Center on 201 N. Main in Meridian. Sandwiches and snacks will be provided. Anyone interested in the park development is welcomed to the meeting and their input is greatly appreciated. This will be a great time to share your ideas for moving forward as well as an opportunity to volunteer on a Parks and Recreation committee. The committees will be reviewing the master plan and discuss the progress on the jail demolition. The new Frisbee golf equipment and outside projector and screen will also be on display.
