Elections

The City of Meridian will hold it's General Election on Saturday, May 4, 2024, for the election of three Councilmember positions.  

Wednesday, January 17, 2024, is the first day to apply for an application for a place on the May 4, 2024, ballot for Councilmember or filing for a write in declaration of candidacy.

Friday, February 16, 2024, 5 p.m. is the last day for turning in an application for a place on the May 4, 2024, ballot for Councilmember.

Tuesday, February 20, 2024, 5 p.m. is the last day to file for a write in declaration of candidacy for the May 4, 2024, ballot for Councilmember.

Thursday, April 4, 2024, is the last day to apply for voter registration to vote in the May 4, 2024, General Election for Mayor or Councilmember.  Check with the Bosque County Voter Registration office.

Once completed, please return to City Secretary Tiffany Gentry at 111 N Main St., Meridian TX.

The drawing, to determine the order in which the names will appear on the ballot, will take place Monday, February 26th, 2024 at 10:00am in the City Hall. The City Hall is located at 111 N Main St.
